We are extremely pleased to provide a letter of recommendation for Jenkins Enterprises, Inc.
Jenkins Enterprises recently completed a $98,000+ restoration of our home after a large oak tree sliced through the upper floor. This required extensive repairs to include replacing the entire roof structure and upper floor ceiling, as well as other damages throughout our home (electrical, painting, drywall, structural, and plumbing).
To say Jenkins’ approach, attitude, attention to detail and quality of work is “without peer” would be an understatement. We have never experienced the high quality of service in the construction industry as we have working with Jenkins Enterprises. On the day of the accident, we were greeted by no less than five contractors, some of which arrived at our house before we did. Each were shoving papers at us, jockeying for our attention all the while telling us what we should do, and why we should let them do the repairs. The owner of Jenkins Enterprises, Jeremy Jenkins arrived and gave us “space” while we dealt with our insurance company, the County Inspector and Fire Department. When Jeremy finally approached us the first words from him were: “I’m really sorry this happened to your home…and I just want to make it clear, you don’t have to go with us”. This was an attitude that was 180 degrees out from the experience we endured over the previous hours. Jeremy clearly has confidence in his reputation and his teams’ work.
Jenkins was leaning forward on this effort from day one. When our insurance company’s appraiser grossly underestimated the repairs by ~$30,000, Jeremy personally and painstakingly worked with their replacement adjuster to ensure the damage were identified and the effort was properly scoped. Jenkins Enterprises was clearly on our side from the start.
The on-site Project Manager, Aaron Holmes, was a true professional. He is a hands-on project manager with a keen attention to detail and easily reached by phone or email. His communication skills and response times were top notch, and his presence on-site was frequent. He often responded to our questions before we even had the opportunity to ask them, and told us exactly what was going to occur and when it was to occur. We’ve dealt with a number of contractors over the years on smaller home improvement projects and have had these much smaller construction efforts frequently fall behind schedule. We expected at least some schedule slip on this large effort being done in the dead of Winter. Aaron’s teams completed our restoration on-time by surging his teams as needed to meet the schedule, unlike other contractors who simply felt “delays are going to happen”. We were back in our home on the day Jenkins identified at project start.
We are beyond satisfied with their work and feel so strongly about Jenkins Enterprises that we offer this letter without any reservations. The quality of their work speaks for itself.

As far as my recommendation, I really wrote this on the survey, but you guys have been great, to say the least! From the beginning and working through the insurance scope of work and the modifications we made, Jeremy was responsive, informative, patient and flexible as we tried to decide exactly what to add to the scope. He also was very thorough in the estimate to ensure we got all of the damage accounted for. Then, with the rebuild, Aaron did a great job managing a large project in the middle of a global pandemic! Aaron was responsive to our needs/concerns (especially my somewhat demanding high expectations!), worked with us to modify the scope and expertly coordinated the unexpected mold remediation. Although the project took longer than we expected, that was not the fault of anyone at Jenkins. We are very happy with the final result and would absolutely recommend Jenkins to anyone. Also, all of the Jenkins employees were professional, friendly, hard-working, and always willing to lend an extra hand.

On the day of the pipe burst, I contacted Nationwide and they gave me two companies to contact, one of which was you. I called both companies and made arrangements for to come and give us an estimate. The first company came out and met with my husband. He really felt that they were ambitious in what needed to be done and that they were trying to make money off the insurance company. I spoke with our assigned Jenkins Enterprises Project Manager and he sent the mitigation team in the next morning. My husband was very impressed by the crew.
The Jenkins Enterprises team made us feel like family. Everything was explained well. The work done so far has been first rate. I was also impressed and grateful how clean everything was when work was finished.

I'd like to share my recent experience with several members of your business. Specifically, the emergency response team. All of these folks have been nothing short of professional and pleasant during this stressful time for my family.
We had a significant leak occur in our kitchen walls during a normal work day. I am currently on active duty with the military and have been for 15 years, my wife is 8 months pregnant with a surprise bonus baby. Needless to say, we were not in an agreeable state for this unforeseen calamity. However, we were very pleasantly surprised once the water mitigation crew showed up on scene. Their positive attitude and gracious customer service made my family feel cared for and turned a mental tsunami into a walk in the park. Whatever you and your team are doing to instill this high degree of professionalism and performance, keep doing it. It's working.
Although my little family of 4.5 understand these are first world problems, they are stressful none-the-less. So on behalf of all of them and myself, thank you.

Dear sirs,
Needless to say I am one elated and relieved homeowner.
On Sunday I had water damage to my home. To say the least Sunday was a very stressful day. In addition, I was scheduled to leave 5 days later for a 10 day vacation and was concerned about potential mold.
I filed a claim with USAA Wednesday afternoon and by the following day at 1:00 pm all the remediation work done by Jenkins Enterprises had been completed including removal of damaged drywall and carpet pad, mold removal and treatment, and fans/dehumidifiers installed. I elected to postpone repair work until I return.
USAA is a world class company and I am convinced Jenkins Enterprises is also a world class provider.

In the wake of a tree falling on our home on July 2, USAA authorized Jenkins Enterprises to provide emergency board up and water mitigation services. In both cases, the Jenkins team was outstanding.
The board up team went above and beyond by bringing in a small group of men to make additional cuts to the tree limbs still clinging to the roof after the tree company had departed for the day. That allowed them to secure a tarp tightly to the roof rather than loosely hang a much larger tarp over the tree and the roof. A larger tarp might have blown away in a heavy wind.
As for the water mitigation crew, they worked tirelessly to strip away water-logged insulation, wall board, rugs and pads on three levels of the home, then installed dehumidifiers and fans to dry everything out.
We communicated closely and often with Jeff, who was instrumental in guiding the crew every day. It was a pleasure to deal with Jeff, who was easy to contact and invariably responsive whenever we made a request. Overall, in spite of the circumstances, we were delighted with Jenkins’ service, and the care with which Jeff and the two teams dealt with our concerns and with the work that needed to be done.

In February, we discovered that we had a hot water leak under our slab under the bathtub in our master bathroom. Because is was a slow leak, the area under the bathtub including the boards up against the siding on one side of the house and the brick on the other side contained significant mold. Siding and brick had to be removed as well as most of the bathroom including the floor tile, shower, wallboard, vanity etc. so that the mold could be mitigated.
When we called USAA who holds our homeowners insurance, they asked if we wanted to use one of their approved contractors – Jenkins Enterprises. USAA said that Jenkins would handle the entire job and would agree to the USAA insurance pricing model. I had a call from Jenkins within one hour after hanging up with USAA. They came to the house that evening and removed some of the concrete floor and slab to pinpoint the leak.
They did a great job of mitigating the mold and restoring the brick, siding and the entire bathroom. We elected to not replace the bathtub but increase the size of the shower and to replace the tile, vanity, shower with more up to date items. Jenkins replaced the tile floor and shower with porcelain tile, put in a new vanity and a quartz countertop, a frameless glass shower enclosure, new faucets and lights and a new toilet.
Jenkins assigned Aaron Holmes as the project manager and he did an outstanding job. His team was excellent, very professional, extremely nice and they cleaned up every day they worked, never leaving a mess. The contractors that Jenkins uses are top notch, from the cabinet supplier, the tile store, the countertop contractor, the brick mason, the shower glass supplier and Jenkins overall general workers – who did all the carpentry, the plumbing, the electrical, the tile, the painting and the molding.
I would highly recommend Jenkins Enterprises to anyone who needs any major repair or insurance claim. They do excellent work, clean up each day, are very professional and are extremely nice to work with. In fact, we told Aaron if we have any other significant home projects, we would give them a call. They did an outstanding job and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I have spent the last 3 years doing a complete remodel of our home. I have hired several contractors to work on various stages of the remodel. Unfortunately we have had several negative experiences with some of these individuals, which cost us a lot of time and money. We have also had a difficult time getting contractors to show up to appointments we set to look at the work we needed to have done. Others would subsequently not get back to us for months once we decided to move forward with their bid. My experience with Jenkins Enterprises was refreshingly different. Jeremy showed up on time to our initial appointment, and sent us a bid within a couple days for our review. The bid was clearly outlined and was reasonable for the work we wanted done. The bid wasn’t extraordinarily high like some of the bids we received, but it also wasn’t so low that I questioned the quality of work to be completed.
Once we decided to hire Jenkins to complete our remodel, I was highly impressed by how professional Jeremy and his crew were. Jeremy was in constant communication so that we were able to move the project forward without delay. His workers were always on time and made sure my home was well taken care of. They were highly skilled individuals who were always professional and courteous. They completed the work in a reasonable time frame with outstanding workmanship. We couldn’t have been happier with the results.

From the beginning to the end of our project to add a bedroom in the space about the two story family room, we were thrilled that we picked Jenkins Enterprises. During the bid process, we were impressed with the itemized bid that showed us where our money was being spent. We appreciated that candor instead of just receiving an estimate for a specific amount. During the build process, Jeremy and his crews went out of the way to be sensitive to the fact that we had a newborn. From giving us daily schedule updates to cleaning up each day, the crews minimized the impact the construction had on my newborn’s schedule. What I was most impressed by was the level of care your employees had for each task they worked on. I hardly know where to start when describing why we have been so impressed with Jenkins Enterprises.
The estimate we received was extremely itemized and thorough. We had our estimate within a day or two of his visit and he worked with us patiently as we eliminated some options to reach our desired budget.
After meeting with us to choose our design chooses the crew began work within days. The crew was professional, kind, always on time and considerate....they left their work area clean and organized and always said goodbye when they finished their days work. Along the way, any questions I had were promptly answered, any last minute changes were accommodated and even special requests I made that went beyond the initial scope of work were received with flexibility and patience.
Most days out of the work week I would get a text of pictures describing the progress that had been made that day and the plan for the next day/week. We were constantly kept in the loop which made the process so much more exciting.
Jeremy and his crew far exceeded our expectations. He went to great lengths to beat his estimated finish date by over a week. Because of that, I get to bring our newborn baby home to a construction free zone! Thank you so much Jenkins Enterprises!
